COPS Practice Management

DUI Program Software Built for Court-Ordered DUI Schools

COPS is practice management software for court-ordered DUI schools and DUI education programs. It tracks enrollments, class attendance, program fees, and payments; generates state and court forms from document templates; produces monthly progress reports as PDFs; and gives clients a secure portal for online payments and documents. Purpose-built for court-ordered programs, not adapted from generic EHRs.

DUI schools live or die by compliance paperwork: state-mandated forms, verifiable attendance, fee reconciliation, and monthly reporting to courts and probation. COPS was built for exactly this workflow and already runs DUI program operations in production.

Data security

COPS production runs on dedicated AWS infrastructure with KMS encryption at rest for the database and document storage, TLS encryption in transit, and a full audit log of staff activity. COPS is a HIPAA-track platform: HIPAA-capable infrastructure is in place, and production HIPAA service requires executed Business Associate Agreements and HIPAA configuration before any protected health information is stored. Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Can COPS generate our state's required DUI program forms and completion certificates?

Yes. Document templates with merge tags populate client data into intake packets, state forms, progress letters, and completion certificates. Existing programs' templates have been migrated from the legacy COPS system, and new templates can be built from your current forms.

Can clients pay their program fees online?

Yes. The client portal supports online card payment with payment history and printable receipts, and staff can process card, ACH, and PayPal-invoice payments — including refunds — through the integrated Stax payment gateway.

How does COPS prove attendance to the court or DMV?

Every scheduled class carries tri-state attendance (attended, absent, or unmarked), rosters can be marked in bulk from the dashboard calendar, and kiosk check-in captures the client's signature with a timestamped audit note. Attendance reports export to CSV, Excel, or PDF.

Does COPS produce monthly progress reports for the court?

Yes. Monthly reports are drafted, finalized, and stored as PDFs with full history. Court/attorney reports and nine other standard report types are also built in.

Can we migrate data from our current DUI school software or spreadsheets?

Yes. Six production programs have migrated to COPS from a legacy system — more than 15,000 client records including fees, payments, attendance, and documents — and new tenants can import clients directly through the app.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. COPS has online signup with a free trial you can start yourself. Book a demo if you would rather see the full workflow first.
